The Authority has sought input to inform our upcoming review of the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011 (CFI Act), which enables the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme.

The review was given to the Minister for Climate Change and Energy in August 2026. We have published the report on our website. The Government must respond to the Authority’s recommendations.
